MOHS RECONSTRUCTION

Mohs surgery, performed by local Mohs dermatologistis, an effective treatment for many basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas. This procedure involves removal of a layer of skin which is then reviewed on-site under a microscope for cancer cells.  This process is repeated until no further cancer cells are seen in the removed tissue. Mohs reconstruction is then performed following skin cancer excision to restore the impacted area to its original form and function.

Our team works closely with all local Mohs dermatologists to provide coordinated care and deliver the best aesthetic outcome for each individual undergoing Mohs skin cancer excision.
